Photographer Kellie Lemon discovered her passion for photography by chance on the sidelines of her daughter’s football games back in 2017. The more she shot, the more in love she fell with photography and it’s wondrous ability to capture timeless precious moments and inspire and evoke emotion through storytelling. Simultaneously grew Kellie’s adoration of the women’s game.
Inspired by strong female footballers, Kellie’s passion for football photography and her purposeful interest in creatively supporting positive visibility of the women’s game through her lens ever since, has seen her establish an entrusted position in the football community at all levels of the game.
Kellie’s experience has seen her photograph the Matildas (Australian Womens National team) in an International Series, multiple seasons of the W-League (Australia’s top division Women’s football league) as a photographer for Western Sydney Wanderers FC and the NSW National Premier League as a club photographer and photographer for Beyond 90 (an Australian Digital News Platform - Women’s Football).
Building on her experience and passion for capturing unique, emotive, quality photography, Kellie is presently undertaking an AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) accreditation. Keep an eye out for the AIPP logo appearing here soon!
Kellie welcomes collaboration at all levels of sport and will be most happy to hear from you!
